The Oceanic Photon Air uses a compact back-inflation wing. With the air cell on the back, the front profile is slimmer, resulting in less drag and a more horizontal trim underwater. The design is optimised for easy travel and packing.

Quick Dry Harness
The Oceanic Photon Air features a minimalist Quick Dry harness construction. The shoulders, back pad and hip pads are streamlined and breathable, with a 3D mesh construction that allows airflow and rapid moisture drainage, resulting in faster drying after a dive.
Infinite Adjustment and Gender-Specific Fit
The Oceanic Photon Air features independently adjustable harness positioning on shoulders, hips and back, allowing a precise custom fit across different wetsuit and drysuit thicknesses. The Oceanic Photon Air is available in separate mens and womens cuts with different shoulder length and angle. All Photon BCD models share the same core frame, making accessories cross-compatible between the Oceanic Photon Air and Oceanic Photon Pro.
Ballast System
The Oceanic Photon Air features a travel-optimised ballast system: 2 quick-release drop weight pockets of 2.3kg each and 2 trim pockets of 2kg each.
Materials and Construction
The Oceanic Photon Air is constructed from UV-resistant 420D nylon with a durable 3D mesh construction and techno-polymer hardware including D-rings and backplate, optimised for strength without unnecessary weight. The inflator system is low-profile, intuitive and designed for easy servicing.
Modular Photon Platform
The Oceanic Photon Air is built on the modular Photon ecosystem. Optional accessories include: Utility Pocket, Dive Housing Holster for Oceanic Dive Housing, Color Kits in Aqua, Black, Blue, Pink and White with epaulettes, retainers, zipper pulls and matching wing bungee, TankTamer quick-release tank band and cross strap.
