Mares Octopus SXS

The Mares Octopus SXS is unmatched in lightness and compactness. Due to its geometry, it can be used on either the right or left side - a particularly valuable feature for an octopus, offering maximum flexibility in any configuration.

The Mares Octopus SXS features a curved bypass tube with a larger diameter compared to other models, providing high airflow. Combined with Mares' patented VAD (Vortex Assisted Design), this delivers comfortable, natural breathing at any depth. Mares has also developed a new deflector to optimise the Venturi effect and minimise the risk of free-flow, ensuring smoother, more comfortable inhalation even at depths greater than 100m.
