The CDC-30-W uses the proven Buhlmann ZH-L16C algorithm, providing accurate data and a high level of safety. It supports air, nitrox (21%-99%) and gauge modes. Imperial and metric settings are available and the interface is in English. The large, well-structured display has backlighting and shows all relevant dive data including depth, time, no-stop limit (NDL time), altitude and temperature. Digital and bar graph displays show nitrogen and oxygen limits and ascent rate. Recording intervals are selectable at 15, 30, 45 or 60 seconds. Adjustable audible and visual alarms include a depth alarm, depth stop and safety stop. An optional depth stop can be used in addition to the safety stop for extra safety. The computer has a replaceable CR2450 lithium battery (INPUT 3V, 0.5mA) with up to 300 hours of diving. Bluetooth connectivity allows easy readout of dive data on the Dive Story Pro app. Two mechanical buttons are easy to operate even when wearing gloves. The silicone wristband is comfortable to wear. The computer has a diameter of 56mm and weighs just 58g. Maximum diving depth is 100 metres. As dive computer data can be reset, the CDC-30-W is also suitable for diving centres where the device can be used by multiple diving students. The CDC-30 dive computer is also available in a console with a pressure gauge.
